Shipping & Returns

 

Processing time
The time needed to prepare an order for shipping varies.

Prints A5, A4 and A3 are kept in stock and are posted in tubes or card backed envelopes for added protection and sent via Royal Mail, UK and processed within 2 days.

Prints larger than A3 are printed to order and can take 2-5 business days to print. We aim to print as fast as possible but delays due to demand or technical issues can occur. Buyers will be informed if we are experiencing delays. These are dispatched via courier and can be sent nationally and internationally. International delivery times can vary depending on the country but are usually surprisingly fast.

Framed prints are made to order so allow 5 business days to be made. Buyers will be informed if we are experiencing delays. We only dispatch framed prints to UK addresses via courier.

 

Estimated shipping times
United Kingdom: 2-3 business days

Europe: 1-2 weeks

North America: 1-3 weeks

Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 1-3 weeks

Rest of world: 1-3 weeks

We do our best to meet these shipping estimates, but can't guarantee them.

Times can vary especially during busy periods such as Christmas, so please allow adequate time to avoid disappointment during these times.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

For remote addresses please be aware that an additional delivery charge maybe occurred for deliveries made by our preferred courier DHL. We will advise before shipping.

 

Tracking
A5, A4 and A3 prints are dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Royal Mail International postal services, both include tracking. A proof of postage is recorded for insurance purposes. Larger prints and framed pictures are sent by courier service with tracking.

 

Undelivered items
We aim to successfully deliver every order but sometimes mistakes happen.

If you didn't receive your order within the estimated shipping times contact us at enquiries@artofadventure.co.uk or by mail at Art of Adventure PO Box 6147, WESTCLIFF-ON-SEA, UNITED KINGDOM, SS1 9AH and we can investigate.

Buyers are responsible for any costs if an item failed to be delivered or collected to the address provided. Shipping costs are non-refundable. For more details (see Returns and Shipping sections).

 

Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.

 

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.

We do not offer exchanges unless damaged (see Exchanges section).

To be eligible for a return of payment, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be refunded.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Postage costs are non-refundable.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at enquiries@artofadventure.co.uk and send your item to: Art of Adventure PO Box 6147, WESTCLIFF-ON-SEA, UNITED KINGDOM, SS1 9AH. For returning framed pictures please contact us for an alternate address as they can't be returned to our PO box address.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. All shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £35, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Compliance with international packaging laws
Germany – Verpackungsgesetz (LUCID Packaging Register).
In 2019 Germany’s Packaging Act VerpackG came into effect, imposing requirements on online retailers selling to buyers in Germany. The Packaging Act promotes recycling and reuse of packaging materials (e.g. cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap).

Our company Art of Adventure is registered at the Packaging Register of the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Foundation Central Agency Packaging Register – ZSVR) with registration number DE5865361778082. My Dual System Licensing partner for the collection, sorting & recycling of the packaging is ACTIVATE by RECLAY.

As consumer please ensure that all received packaging is disposed of in the right recycling containers, Blue for all paper & cardboard and Yellow for all plastics.

 

Warranty
Our framed products are covered by a maximum standard 90 day warranty.
